Many tourists choose to stop here to enjoy the scenery, and the local people are rightly proud of their beautiful municipality. But Lesja has so much more to offer than simply its natural attractions, including lots of cultural heritage, traditions and an exciting range of activities.

The area is home to more than 100 local organisations, which help to create a vibrant and cohesive community. Amongst other things, volunteers do a lot of the work at the Lesja rural museum.
